Liftinstituut Caribbean appointed by the Minister of Justice
The safety of citizens and tourists is becoming an increasingly important issue for the government. This also applies to the use of elevators. Since 2015, there has been a Ministerial Regulation that prohibits the operation of elevators without a valid safety certificate.
How to obtain a valid elevator safety certificate.
The Minister of Justice issues the safety certificates for elevators. To qualify for a certificate it is a must for owners to arrange an inspection of their elevator(s). This can be done by a competent certifying body appointed by the Minister.
Liftinstituut Caribbean can help.
Last December, the Minister of Justice officially appointed Liftinstituut Caribbean as an approved body for elevator certifications, the first on Aruba. As part of the global operator Liftinstituut, our inspectors know all there is to know about elevator safety standards.
